Obituary for Bolden Dan Waller
Bolden Dan Waller, age 60, passed on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Hospital in Winston Salem.
Born on Aug. 1, 1956 in East Orange, N.J., he was the son of the late Thurston and Jannie Waller.
Dan, as he was affectionally known by his close friends, was educated in Essex County public schools, attended Ashland Grammar School in East Orange, N.J., and graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School in 1974. After graduation he attended East Stroudsburg State University and Winston-Salem State University where he majored in business education.
He became a member of Soldiers Memorial AME Zion Church where he remained until illness prevented him from attending regularly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Barry Waller.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Carol Fran Waller; lovely daughter, Brooke Danielle Waller; three brothers, Jeff Waller, James Waller and Mark (Ruby) Waller of East Orange, N.J.; mother-in-law, Clara Wilkins Richardson of Salisbury; brother-in-law, Frank G (Tammie) Richardson; sister-in-law, Robin Richardson of Salisbury; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
