Obituary for Jacinta Nicolette Kimbrough
Retired Army Sgt. Jacinta Nicolette "Bumpy" Kimbrough 44, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, VA. Born August 7, 1972 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of William R. Kimbrough and Inita Robinson Gaither.
She was a graduate of Davie County High School, class of 1991 and attended Livingstone College.
She was a veteran of the United States Army, where she achieved the rank of Sergeant.
She attended the churches of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, Cleveland and Shiloh AME Zion Church, Statesville. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Alan Mole, Jr., paternal grandparents, Ollie Kimbrough, Sr., and Elizabeth Hall Kimbrough Jackson (David), maternal grandparents, Christine R. Watson(William) and Robert L. Hosch.
She leaves many loving and precious memories to her daughters, Camille N. Hyman (Sgt. Jermaine) of Tacoma, WA., Cameran N. Kimbrough of Salisbury; parents, William R Kimbrough (Sandra) of Statesville and Inita Robinson Gaither of Newport News, VA; sisters, Terri A. Robinson of Durham, Willette Eley (Lt. Col. Alvernon, Jr.) of Concord, Robiane V. Morgan (Micheal) and VaLisa Bellamy (Terry) both of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jaylen Kimbrough, Joi and Journee Hyman; stepsisters, Pamela Shirley (Shelton) and Stephanie Hernandez (Rafael) both of Huntersville; stepbrother, Edward Solitaire (Patricia) of Statesville; stepfather, Reginald Gaither and stepgrandmother, Alice Lee Gaither both of Mocksville; special aunt, Lavonia D. Watson of Woodleaf; adopted brother, Alex Avery (Latoya) of Winston-Salem; godson, Deion Everhart of Salisbury; godparents, Ervin and Clara Sigmon of Statesville and a host of aunts,uncles, cousins, friends and special army friends.
